Collagraphs with Handmade Paper

One-day workshop with Patricia Cheyne

$125 plus $20 materials
(WhitPrint members: $112.50 plus $20 materials)

About This Workshop

Always wondered what a collagraph was? Always wanted to make a collagraph print? Come to this workshop! A collagraph is essentially a plate that is created from a collection of textures that have been pasted (or collaged) onto a rigid surface like cardboard. You can use handmade paper (see the Handmade Paper workshop), bits of fabric, thread, dried plants and found objects to create the design you want to print. Next, we will seal the plate and ink it up to print as intaglio or relief, or both (my special trick). Come and discover the wonderful world of Collagraph printmaking.
