Whiteaker Printmakers is now offering occasional Wednesday evening Print Talk sessions with Mika Aono Boyd. These sessions are designed to be fun, relaxed, and informative demonstrations and discussions of a variety of printmaking techniques. Our first session will be devoted to intaglio printmaking, with emphasis on drypoint, and hard and soft ground etchings.
Have you wondered how all those beautiful intaglio prints are produced? Please join us for our first evening of Print Talk. This session consists of visual examples and short demonstrations. The talk will cover tools, materials and processes in depth. Geek out on techniques and learn some tips and tricks that printmakers have up their sleeves. Please bring your curiosity and questions. Yes, you can relax, watch and listen... No pressure!
These two-hour evening sessions (6:30 to 8:30PM) are only $15 to attend. No advance registration required -- pay when you arrive! Or, if you want to guarantee your place, you can register and pay online.
