About the Workshop
The use of layers in creative work gives the maker and the viewer windows for interpretation. This workshop will teach new techniques for creating layering in your mixed-media artwork. You will learn ways to apply imagery, photos, and photocopies in your art through transfer and lift techniques. You can use this workshop to start a new work, to experiment, and/or to add to pre-existing works. Be prepared to see your mind and your hands finding new ways to communicate visually!
All basic materials will be supplied. Registered participants will receive a list of optional materials and inspirations to bring.
There will be a 30-minute lunch break. Bring a bag lunch or plan to eat at one of the local eateries in the Whiteaker neighborhood.
